このたび、デザイン史学研究会第18回シンポジウム「モダニズム―住まうモダニズム・生きるモダニズム」を下記の通り開催いたします。
20世紀前半のイギリスにおいて、文学・デザイン・建築は「モダニズム」という理念のもとで相互に影響し合い、新たな生活様式や空間意識を形成しました。本シンポジウムでは、「住まう」と「生きる」という視点から、モダニズムの思想と実践を横断的に考察します。
皆様のご参加を心よりお待ち申し上げます。

We are pleased to announce the 18th Symposium of Design History Workshop Japan:
Modernism: Dwelling in Modernism, Living Modernism
The first half of the twentieth century witnessed dynamic interactions among literature, design, and architecture in Britain under the broad banner of modernism. These fields collectively reshaped ideas of everyday life, domestic space, and human experience. Through the themes of dwelling and living, this symposium explores how modernist thought was articulated and practiced across disciplines.
